I love the taste of the drinks here in general. However, lately it seems staff has a high turnover, I don't see the same baristas consistently and quality does vary on who is making your drink. Secondly, I generally ask for light ice in my drinks and the ice is always packed in there taking up almost half the cup. Edit: This is an example of how much ice was in my drink after I was done drinking it and had requested light ice.

I stopped by Happy Tea Oswell since it’s conveniently located near Kaiser, and I was really craving a matcha drink. I ordered a matcha with a drizzle and crème brûlée foam, adjusting the sweetness to 75% with light ice. The drink ended up being just right for my taste—smooth, not overly sweet, and the foam added a nice, creamy touch. It was pretty quiet when I visited in the afternoon—I was actually the only customer at the time—which made the experience feel calm and relaxed. The interior is lovely, with a cozy and inviting vibe that seems perfect for hanging out with friends or just unwinding with a drink. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back when I’m in the area and craving another matcha fix. A great little spot to relax and treat yourself.

I love their boba, it tastes fresh when I've ordered in person. My main complaint and what has ruined my experience these last couple of times, is that they don't include boba in their drinks when you order online. It's happened twice now, and it's really frustrating. They obviously ask you that in person, but not online it is not specified that none of the drinks have boba in them. What's the point of ordering at a boba place if you're not including boba in your drinks??? At least, make it so we have to choose whether or not we want boba. I went back to check and according to them, only the Thai Tea has boba included, but my order today had a one with no boba, so wth????

We have been waiting for this boba cafe to open up for about a year now. It amazed me. The atmosphere is great.. perfect for studying or coffee dates. Plenty of seating. I had a phin filter latte and the herbal winter melon tea. They have various toppings you can add. All delicious. The best aspect is the price.. it is reasonably priced even with toppings and the tip we left. We will definitely be returning. Great addition to east Bakersfield.
